MEHRAN was basically established with the notion to promote living conditions in the country. Members of the NGO have been struggling individually in accordance with their own limited resources without any external financial assistance. Consequently Muhammad Haroon Siddique:

The President and Founder motivated other members and decided to get the organization registered so that it might become legally functional to achieve its prescribed objectives in collaboration with local, national and international donors, therefore, MEHRAN after fulfilling all legal formalities and requirements, recently in March 2014, has been got registered with the Sub Registrar, for the objective to establish, maintain, run, manage and administer aid programmes providing relief and help to the needy, the poor and the destitute; undertake charitable and philanthropic activities for benefit of the mankind and work for alleviation of human sufferings from catastrophes.

Now it has a legal right to request for all kinds of support including request for financial assistance. MEHRAN now intends to commence its formal role; it exclusively aims to improve living conditions and standard of humanity by working in a highly organized and methodical manner in various spheres of life.
